Mary Edith's muffins are the best!

Green Soup

 

Simmer for 20 min in 1 c water:

4 c chopped broccoli (from flowers and just a bit of upper stalk)

1 c chopped green pepper

3/4 c chopped onion

Blend these vegetables with the water either with an immersion blender or in a jar blender.

 

Place in a soup pot and add:

1 T butter

3/4 c evaporated milk

1/2 c buttermilk

1 t curry powder

3/4 t salt

Heat thoroughly but do not let boil .  Serve.
